Hi, my name is Lamont I. Thompson, CEO and Founder of L.I. Thompson Consulting.
I have over 15 years of project management experience with strong focus on data hygiene and integrity and I would like to tell you a little about me and why I would like to help your organization become better data stewards!
My very first job out of college was being a Volunteer Coordinator for a very well known nonprofit organization , It was there that I learned to collect and use data to achieve and exceed volunteer project coordination goals. This also allowed for better retention and constant engagement of a reliable volunteer base and often even led to converting volunteers into donors! It was my job to maintain that data in a very accurate way. I made sure to connect with volunteers on their birthdays, cater volunteer project interests to certain segments, and automate a lot of the routine processes once the data was in it's best shape!
Since then, I have worked for and with a number of well known for profit and nonprofit organizations, and I've noticed that there is need for regular data maintenance among many. The cleaner your data, the better able your organization will be in outreach, calls to action, and fundraising. Not all organizations are immediate able to hire a full-time position that caters specifically to upkeep.
